Diving deeper, this article features the uplifting journey of Mustafá Amin el Kard Errami, an athlete on the Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro (AJP) Tour, previously mentioned (which you can read about here). He's also the first athlete associated with Traineer.

Therefore, in this article we are going to tell you a story of overcoming, passion, motivation, resilience and ambition that will surely not leave any reader indifferent.

Beginnings, childhood, mentality and development:

Mustafa was born in Murcia in November the 4th of 1997 and, together with his two sisters, developed very prominent values regarding family, lasting friendship, courage and honour. From his early years in Murcia, Mustafa showed an unbridled passion for sport, playing a wide variety of sports. From football and basketball to athletics, his competitive nature and unwavering determination led him to explore various sporting disciplines. With an enviable physical condition and a mind focused on success, Mustafa left his mark on every sport he touched during his childhood and above all on the people with whom he achieved his goals.

Maturity, beginnings in Jiu-Jitsu and competition:

At the age of 18 he moved to Paris, France to work professionally. After moving to Paris in his quest for personal and professional growth, Mustafa found himself immersed in a whole new world, starting as a shop assistant in a fashion shop, his determination led him to found his own company. But it was on the mats of MKTEAM that he discovered his true passion: Jiu-Jitsu. At the age of 23, Mustafa was introduced to this martial art and quickly demonstrated a natural talent for ground fighting. His competition debut during the 2022-2023 season did not go unnoticed, achieving an impressive collection of silver and bronze medals in his first year (more specifically a silver medal in the AJP Tour Italy national Jiu-Jitsu championship 2023 - Gi & No-GI and three bronze medals in AJP Tour Italy national Jiu-Jitsu championship 2023 - Gi & No-GI and AJPT Tour north France regional Jiu-Jitsu championship 2022 - GI & NO-GI), and establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with on the world Jiu-Jitsu scene. Finishing the season ranked #204 worldwide, #101 in Europe and #13 in Spain.

Current status, objectives and championships:

With a relentless mentality and an insatiable hunger for success, Mustafa has set his sights on surpassing his past achievements in 2024. With 14 world-level competitions on his horizon, he is determined to elevate his development and take his career to the next level. "Every day is an opportunity to improve," declares Mustafa. "I don't settle for mediocrity. I want to be the best at what I do and I'm willing to work hard to achieve it. The 14 competitions he will play in this 2023-2024 season will be as follows:

• AJP TOUR MONTENEGRO (June 1st).
• ABU DHABI NO-GI WORLD AMATEUR JIU-JITSU CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 (June 26th – 27th).
• AJP TOUR EUROPE CONTINENTAL JIU-JITSU CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 - AMATEURS & MASTERS 2024 (October 13rd).
• AJP TOUR ITALY (October 20th).
• AJP TOUR GERMANY (September 7th).

"Never could I have imagined finding myself in this position, competing internationally, having various sponsors, even getting to collaborate with an app like Traineer, something I'm genuinely proud of. It allows me to give visibility to this sport and proudly represent it on my gi in the competitions I participate in. Furthermore, one of the co-founders is a close friend of mine.
